“Go Fish” Package Takes Anglers to Everglades in Kayaks

Lemon Tree Inn offers Savings Up To 15%

Naples, Florida –2009 – Lemon Tree Inn of Naples, Florida has a new Go Fish package that takes anglers to the Everglades backcountry in kayaks. The package includes two-nights accommodations at Lemon Tree Inn and a five-hour kayak fishing excursion among mangroves, manatees, alligators and plenty of fish in the Everglades. Packages start at $530 for two now through December 14, 2009, a 15% savings on the room rate, and $660 for two December 15, 2009 until April 14, 2010. Rates are based on double occupancy, and do not include taxes or gratuities. Additional nights and fishing excursions are available at an additional charge.

“Kayak fishing is the fastest growing segment in sports fishing and the Everglades is the best place to fish – so we wanted to offer both to our guests,” says Sid Kalmans, owner of Lemon Tree Inn of Naples, Florida. “For this extreme package, we partnered with expert fishing guide Captain Charles Wright from Everglades Kayak Fishing. Captain Wright and his team of guides have been fishing the Everglades National Park area since 1972. They know where the hot spots are for snook, tarpon, redfish, speckled trout and Spanish mackerel.”

The kayak-fishing trip takes guests to the Everglades National Park, rated as the "Number One Saltwater Fly Fishing Destination In the World" by ESPN (2004). Everglades Kayak Fishing (www.evergladeskayakfishing.com) maintains a fleet of state-of-the-art extremely stable and completely rigged for fishing kayaks including the Heritage Redfish 12's and the Native Watercraft "Ultimate" (for the fly fisherman). “We provide the best equipment available to safely access the remote, seldom fished areas of Everglades National Park,” says Captain Charles Wright of Everglades Kayak Fishing.

Lemon Tree Inn, locally owned and operated by the Freedman and Kalmans families, is a boutique hotel with a Caribbean spirit. Each hotel room, which is unique from the bed style (four poster mahogany bed to wicker sleigh beds) to the artwork, has a tropical theme including brightly colored Adirondack chairs facing the courtyard garden. Continental breakfast is served poolside and lemonade is served all day. Guests can rent bicycles and ride to the beach or the many shops, galleries and restaurants just a block from the hotel.
